UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) – Earlier, IAEA Director Grossi told Sputnik that Russia is a critically important partner for the agency and expressed hope that he will succeed in discussing the Zaporozhye NPP security with the Russian delegation on the margins of the UN General Assembly.
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi told Sputnik on Wednesday that he hopes to visit the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant by the end of the year.
"Before the end of the year, maybe," Grossi said, when asked about his plans for his next visit to the ZNPP.

Grossi Says Drone Intercepted Near Energodar City Had No Impact on Safety of ZNPP
The IAEA chief added that he will discuss his next visit to Russia when he meets with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov later in the day on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
"I hope so," Grossi said, when asked whether he would visit Russia again this year. "I will be seeing Minister Lavrov today, and we will be discussing that."
