Ethiopian Airlines Vows to Comply With Nigerian Aviation Authority Rules Amid Sanctions
During a press briefing on Wednesday, CEO Mesfin Tasew reportedly confirmed that while Ethiopian Airlines allows promotional content creation under strict procedures, the video in question bypassed official approval channels. Employees from the Addis Ababa sales office, who granted permission without proper authorization, are now facing administrative consequences.
The video was filmed in a restricted maintenance area without prior content review. In response, the airline has launched an internal audit and reinforced approval protocols to prevent similar breaches. CEO Mesfin emphasized Ethiopian Airlines' commitment to maintaining security and compliance, stating that corrective measures will continue to be implemented.
