Malaysia does not recognize unilateral sanctions against such countries as Russia and Iran, and aims to develop close relations with Russia, Malaysian Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Mohamad Sabu told Sputnik on Tuesday.He added that Malaysia is continuing to pursue its goal to develop close relations with Russia.Sabu also said that Russia is an independent country which has the right to choose its own path. He added that Russia plays an important role in the world and in the United Nations.
