Aimed at replenishing Ukrainian forces depleted by more than two years of armed conflict with Russia, it mandates that all Ukrainians liable for military service report to conscription offices within 60 days of the law's enactment.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky has admitted, after inspecting the front line, that the Ukrainian armed forces are at a disadvantage compared to the Russian military in weapons and personnel.
"The enemy does have an advantage in aviation, in missiles, in artillery, in the amount of ammunition they use, of course, in personnel, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles," Syrsky said in an interview with CNN, published on Thursday. Mobilization is a priority for the Ukrainian military at the moment, the commander-in-chief said, admitting, however, that the training of new recruits has to be completed in a very short time.
"The dynamics at the front require us to put conscripted servicemen into service as soon as possible," Syrsky said.
