A Ukrainian trace is likely to appear in the assassination attempt on US presidential candidate Donald Trump, who has become a personal enemy of Vladimir Zelensky amid the US politician's statements about the possibility of a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, Viktor Medvedchuk, chairman of the council of the Other Ukraine movement, said in an appeal to Trump.In the address published on the website of the Other Ukraine movement, Medvedchuk noted that Trump has repeatedly stated that he is capable of bringing peace to Ukraine. However, peace means the loss of power to "the Nazi regime of Zelensky and his American handlers from the Biden administration," the politician stressed.In his estimation, this, as well as the desire to avoid punishment for their actions, is the reason why the Kiev regime and the American curators will not give Ukrainians peace.He also noted that the elimination of political opponents and political corruption are equally linked to the attempts of parties that make money selling weapons to Ukrainian neo-Nazis to stay in power. The active militarization of Ukraine continues, with NATO countries providing military and financial assistance to the conspirators illegally in power in Kiev, Medvedchuk added.Trump cut short a public appearance in Pennsylvania on Saturday because of the shooting. Footage from the recording showed the politician being led away by security guards under his arms with a bloodied ear. Trump later said he was shot in the ear and lost a lot of blood.The US Secret Service eliminated the suspect, who fired several shots toward the stage. The shooting killed one audience member and critically wounded two others.

"Mr. Trump, I believe that your actions have caused the Ukrainian neo-Nazi Zelensky to view you as his personal enemy. He is likely to use all possible means to prevent you from winning the presidential election. I am certain there will be a Ukrainian trail in the assassination attempt on you," Medvedchuk wrote.
He also noted that the elimination of political opponents and political corruption are equally linked to the attempts of parties that make money selling weapons to Ukrainian neo-Nazis to stay in power. "The flow of arms and ammunition to Ukraine is undoubtedly contributing to the escalation of the conflict and poses a significant risk of weapons diversion and proliferation even after the conflict ends," he said.
