The unsuccessful assassination attempt against former president and current presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday is a warning sign or "wake-up call" about how seriously the US Deep State fears the return of the former leader to the White House, veteran Pentagon analyst and retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski told Sputnik on Sunday. At least two shots were fired at Trump during the rally. They were apparently fired from at least one and possibly more rifles.Trump, now aged 78, immediately dived to the ground, an action which some commentators have already said may have saved his life. Kwaitkowski advised that the attack did not come in a political vacuum but followed hysterical language, repeatedly and falsely asserting that Trump would become some kind of dictator if elected. It also followed repeated warnings that the same Deep State official establishment who tried to block Trump's foreign and national security policies during his first term in office from 2017 to 2021 appeared determined to prevent him from taking power again. Kwiatkowski also observed that the Secret Service, charged with the protection of the President of the United States and major presidential candidates, had appeared to have acted decisively and successfully in defense of him, killing the alleged gunman. However, Kwiatkowski also pointed out that the current administration of US President Joe Biden had refused to provide Secret Service protection to independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Kennedy's own father, Senator Robert Kennedy, was assassinated during his presidential campaign 56 years ago. His uncle, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963.

Trump Murder Bid 'Wake-Up Call' on Deep State Fear of His Return, Ex-Pentagon Analyst Says
09:46 14.07.2024 (Updated: 16:48 15.07.2024) WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - Earlier on Saturday, a man shot former US President Donald Trump in the right ear during a campaign event in Pennsylvania. The shooter also killed an audience member and critically injured two others in the crowd before the US Secret Service neutralized him.
The unsuccessful assassination attempt against former president and current presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday is a warning sign or "wake-up call" about how seriously the US Deep State fears the return of the former leader to the White House, veteran Pentagon analyst and retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel
Karen Kwiatkowski told
Sputnik on Sunday.
"This shooting is a wake-up call about how seriously the Democratic neocons and the existent Deep State is concerned about the upcoming presidential election," Kwiatkowski said.
At least two shots were fired at
Trump during the rally. They were apparently fired from at least one and possibly more rifles.
Trump, now aged 78, immediately dived to the ground, an action which some commentators have already said may have saved his life.
"The language of the left is hysterically existential regarding Trump, and actions from panicked leftists or coordinated deep state action against him can happen and seems to have happened today," Kwiatkowski said.
Kwiatkowski also observed that the Secret Service, charged with the protection of the President of the United States and major presidential candidates, had appeared to have acted decisively and successfully in defense of him, killing the alleged gunman.
"The Secret Service apparently acted swiftly and violently in defense of Mr. Trump," she said.
However, Kwiatkowski also pointed out that the current administration of US President
Joe Biden had refused to provide Secret Service protection to independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
"It is also a reminder that the Biden Administration has repeatedly denied RFK, Jr.'s requests for Secret Service protection," she said.
Kennedy's own father, Senator
Robert Kennedy, was assassinated during his presidential campaign 56 years ago. His uncle, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963.
