Russian President Says Much Done in Building Relations Between Russia & Bahrain
MOSCOW (Sputnik) - On May 16, Bahraini Information Minister Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Noaimi told Sputnik that Bahrain and Russia are united by a partnership with the goal of promoting the advancement and sustainability of the region.
Much has been done in building relations between
Russia and Bahrain, good contacts have been established through the countries' foreign ministries, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at talks with King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in Moscow on Thursday.
"Next year we celebrate 35 years of establishing diplomatic relations between our countries. Over these years, much has been done in building relations between our states. We have good contacts between our foreign ministries, and our positions are close on many issues on the international agenda," Putin said.
The King of Bahrain, in turn, noted that Putin's victory in the Russian presidential elections has had a positive impact on the situation in the Arab world.
