Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Russia will continue to cooperate with African nations in the field of education and increase the quota of African students enrolled in Russian universities.
Russia will send teachers to the Central African Republic (CAR) to introduce the Russian language into the education system, the embassy said on Telegram.
The Russian embassy added that on Thursday, an online working meeting of representatives of the Ministry of National Education of the CAR with the leadership of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation was held.
During the meeting, "Russia announced the decision to send Russian teachers to the CAR with the aim of introducing Russian into the national educational program as a foreign language."
"A detailed discussion took place on the project for the construction of a Russian-Central African educational complex in the suburbs of Bangui," the embassy added.
Furthermore, the State Minister of National Education of the CAR was invited to the Second Forum of Ministers of Education in the Russian city of Kazan in June.
