MOSCOW (Sputnik) - On February 15-17, Moscow will host the founding event of the forum of supporters of the fight against modern practices of neocolonialism “For the Freedom of Nations!”
President of the Central African Republic (CAR) Faustin-Archange Touadera will pay a visit to Moscow from February 14-16 to discuss bilateral and international agenda, Russian Ambassador to the CAR Alexander Bikantov told Sputnik.
"The president of the Central African Republic will be in Moscow from February 14-16 to participate in the anti-colonial forum. The event is being held by the United Russia party," Bikantov said, adding that "it is appropriate to expect that the entire range of current bilateral and international issues can be discussed."
A working meeting between the CAR leader and Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev is expected, the diplomat said. Other working meetings are possible.
Last July, Touadera attended the second Russia-Africa summit, where a top-level bilateral meeting happened. During the summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the high level of relations between Russia and the CAR will be maintained, and the countries have many opportunities for cooperation.
