A 25% increase in trade between Russia and Egypt is expected as a result of 2023, Alexey Tevanian, Russia's trade representative in Egypt, told Sputnik.For Egypt, Russian wheat is one of the main products imported from Russia. In the first three months of the crop year, July-September, the North African country became the leading importer of Russian grain, the Union of Grain Exporters said.In December, another 480,000 tonnes of Russian wheat was bought by Egypt, the country's General Authority for Supply of Commodities (GASC) announced.
