MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister Yi noted the close positions of both countries regarding the actions of the United States in the international arena that are aimed against China and Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi declared the closeness of the positions of the parties regarding the actions of the United States in the international arena, including those of an anti-Russian and anti-Chinese nature.
Yi informed Lavrov about his talks with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, while the Russian minister informed his Chinese counterpart on the result of the visit of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to Russia, the ministry added.

In addition, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and Yi will hold consultations on strategic security in Moscow on Tuesday, the council said.
The consultations will be held with the participation of representatives of ministries and departments of the two countries, the statement said.
Moreover, trilateral security consultations in the Russia-China-Mongolia format will also take place in Moscow on Tuesday, and the delegations of the countries will be headed by Patrushev, Yi and Secretary of the National Security Council of Mongolia Enkhbayar Jadamba, according to the council.
