Moussa Faki Mahamat, a Chadian politician and diplomat, has held various high-level positions throughout his career. He currently serves as the elected Chairperson of the African Union Commission, a position he has held since March 14th, 2017. Prior to this, he was the Prime Minister of Chad from June 24th, 2003 to February 4th, 2005 and also served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from April 2008 to January 2017.
