Ghana's President John Dramani Mahama appointed chartered accountant and Parliament leader Cassiel Ato Forson as finance minister, according to a presidency statement on Thursday.
Following his inauguration on Tuesday, President Mahama is quickly assembling his team to tackle economic issues and job creation, appointing John Abdulai Jinapor as energy minister and Dominic Akuritinga Ayine as attorney general and justice minister.
