"We are exploring ways to improve and increase direct flights to Russia, with the aim of attracting more Russian tourists and fostering greater people-to-people connections," Zialor said on the sidelines of the 10th St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures.
The minister added that despite the current political landscape, relations between the two states remained positive and enjoyed a long history of over 40 years.
Zialor expressed the hope that cultural and sports exchanges could bridge political divides, adding that it was essential to convey this message to the younger generation.
"Culture and sports rise above politics. This is what is important, and this is a message we need to send to our young people," the minister said.
The minister added that she will meet with Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova on Friday to discuss potential cooperation in the areas of youth, arts, and culture.
