Russia is ready to help African countries with stocktaking of items stolen by colonialists, Russia's Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs and member of the All-Russian political party "United Russia", Andrey Klimov, said.
Around $300 trillion worth of property was looted from colonized nations worldwide during the foriegn rule, he noted.

"This is a colossal figure, not taking into account the human lives destroyed," the politician added.

According to him, his party carried out an analysis to determine these impressive figures, that show the scope of the consequences for the countries of the world that had been colonized by the West.
The United Russia party is preparing to propose founding a day of remembrance of the victims of colonialism, "so that the world does not forget and so that history is not rewritten," Klimov revealed.
