The United States is directly obstructing the work of the international forum against neocolonialism "For the Freedom of Nations!" Russia's Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Andrey Klimov, said.

"The West, first of all, the United States, is doing everything to silence our forum, moreover, it directly hinders its work," he noted.

For instance, a Peruvian deputy was not allowed to board a flight to Moscow, where the forum is to take place, because of the US ban, as the flight route passes through its territory, Klimov revealed.

A similar situation happened to one of the African officials, Klimov highlighted.
"Another case has occurred in an African country. They come to a senior official and tell him: 'You are expecting to receive a loan of several billion dollars. In this regard, do you need to go to Moscow and have relations with Russians at all,'" Klimov revealed, adding that he specifically did not give names so as not to aggravate the situation of these people.
