China & Namibia Share Idea of 'Global Order That is More Multipolar': Namibian Analyst

The countries' ties date back to the liberation struggle era, when China provided training and support, Frederico Links, researcher at the Institute for Public Policy Research, Namibia, told Sputnik Africa.

"[...] Chinese state entities have become major economic players in Namibia, and especially in our mining sector, increasingly over the last decade, especially."

Moreover, in today’s tech-driven era, transferring technology could help the economies leap forward, he added.

"And Namibia is hoping to position itself as a leader on the continent and internationally in terms of green energy production, things like green hydrogen and so on."
