The US "is destabilizing the entire world" by acting as "the sole superpower," kidnapping leaders, and waging wars for oil, Ngqabutho Nicholas Mabhena, general secretary of Zimbabwe’s communist party, told Sputnik Africa at the Cuba Solidarity Now protest in Johannesburg.
"This means we must dismantle imperialism and build an alternative, which is BRICS," he emphasized.
Calling for isolation of the US and independence from the West, Mabhena denounced the US's actions in Cuba and reminded that Gaddafi was killed because he "was saying, no, let's have the gold-backed currency in Africa."
"It [the US] must back off from Cuba, it must end all the wars globally. We want peace in the world."
