President Ruto Greenlights Game-Changer Airport Upgrade in Western Kenya
The Suneka airstrip near Lake Victoria is set to be upgraded to a modern airport with an expanded runway and improved facilities, President William Ruto announced.
The project is expected to:
lower transport costs;
boost trade;
create jobs, and attract investment;
increase connectivity with the rest of the country and the world.
