African Financial Centers Casablanca and Mauritius Enter Global Top 50
In total, seven African financial centers are considered internationally competitive, according to the Global Financial Centres Index.
Casablanca Finance City leads the continent and ranks 49th globally (+7 places).
Mauritius International Financial Centre occupies the 50th place (+2 places).
Other African centers follow:
Kigali (72nd);
Johannesburg (80th);
Cape Town (96th);
Nairobi (114th);
Lagos (118th).
