Gaddafi Family 'Not Accusing Anyone' Over Assassination of Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi, His Brother Says
“Rumor that we are accusing a specific entity or person is pure fabrication,” al-Saadi Muammar Gaddafi said on social media, dismissing certain circulating news, regarding accusations.
The family is awaiting the investigation results, noted Saif al-Islam Gaddafi’s younger brother, adding that “we trust in the Libyan judiciary.”
Al-Islam Gaddafi, a popular figure seen as a likely candidate in Libya’s potential elections due to his father’s legacy and anti-colonial stance, was assassinated on Tuesday. Thousands reportedly attended his funeral on Friday.
