Burkina Faso's Flag Flown on Africa's Highest Peak for First Time
The Burkinabe national symbol was raised to the 5,895-meter summit of Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro.
Motorcyclist Julio Lucrece Bazi successfully completed the ascent in five days.
"It's a message of solidarity, courage, and faith in our shared future," Lucrece Bazi wrote on social media. "It's also to show that we can reach new heights together."
