The provisions of Russia's nuclear doctrine remain in effect, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.
"The nuclear doctrine is in effect — accordingly, all its provisions are in effect. This is one of the fundamental documents," Peskov told journalists.
The Kremlin urges all parties to pressure Ukraine into engaging in a new round of negotiations with Russia, he added.
However, Putin and Trump are not planning a phone conversation in the near future, the official noted.
