Dmitriev and Witkoff will discuss strengthening relations between the two countries, the report said on Tuesday, adding that it will be the first visit of a senior Russian official to the US since Russia launched its special military operation in Ukraine in 2022.
The report added that Washington temporarily lifted sanctions against Dmitriev to allow authorities to issue him a visa to visit the US.
