MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The joint statement following the latest meeting between Russian and US delegations in Saudi Arabia will be published on Tuesday at 4 am Washington time, or 11 am Moscow time and 08:00 GMT, CBS News reported.
The Russian delegation, led by top senator for foreign affairs Grigory Karasin and adviser to Federal Security Service chief Sergey Beseda, met with the US delegation in Riyadh on Monday. They were expected to discuss the details of a possible resumption of the deal on the safety of navigation in the Black Sea, as earmarked by Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump during their latest phone call.
The negotiation lasted for more than 12 hours. A source familiar with the progress of the talks told Sputnik that the joint statement was not expected until Tuesday.
