US billionaire Elon Musk has agreed with the idea of Washington withdrawing from the United Nations and NATO. Soon after taking office on January 20, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on the country's withdrawal from the World Health Organization, citing its unfair funding policies. Trump has also repeatedly criticized Europe for its low contribution to NATO's defense capability and demanded that all member countries increase defense spending to 5% of GDP. In February, US entrepreneur and podcaster Patrick Bet-David told RIA Novosti that Trump ignores European NATO allies because he is "not a fan of what NATO does."

Elon Musk Agrees With Idea of US Withdrawal From UN, NATO
MOSCOW (Sputnik) - In late February, Republicans in the US Senate introduced a bill to fully withdraw the country from the UN. The document called for ceasing all US funding to the UN and banned any US involvement in UN peacekeeping missions. On Saturday, Senator Mike Lee, in several posts on X, called for Washington to withdraw from NATO as well.
US billionaire Elon
Musk has agreed with the idea of Washington withdrawing from the United Nations and NATO.
"I agree," Musk said on X late on Saturday in response to a post by US political commentator Gunther Eagleman, who suggested it was time for the US "to leave NATO and the UN."
Soon after taking office on January 20, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on the
country's withdrawal from the World Health Organization, citing its unfair funding policies.
