A national conference in Niger brought together young people and women to discuss their challenges, culminating on February 19th. A Sputnik Africa correspondent in Niger had a conversation with President of the National Youth Council Sidi Mohamed and a representative of the Coordination of NGOs and Women's Associations of Niger (CONGAFEN), both of whom are actively involved in the event.He also advocated for a "reconstruction" that will lead to a "truly sovereign and independent republic."The representative of CONGAFEN also supported the idea of reinstating the Ministry for the Promotion of Women and the Protection of Children, urging "to really give women their rights."

Sputnik Africa correspondent in Niger had a conversation with
President of the National Youth Council Sidi Mohamed and a
representative of the Coordination of NGOs and Women's Associations of Niger (CONGAFEN), both of whom are actively involved in the event.
"When the country is doing well, the youth are in the country, so everything is going well for the youth," Mohamed said.
He also advocated for a "reconstruction" that will lead to a "truly sovereign and independent republic."
