The United States has ordered non-emergency US government personnel and family members to depart the Democratic Republic of the Congo amid a rebel advance. The US authorities advise American citizens not to travel to the DRC "due to Armed Conflict, Crime, Civil Unrest, Kidnapping, and Terrorism," the alert said.
