Every country is sovereign, the Central African Republic President Faustin-Archange Touadera explained to Sputnik Africa.The president explained that each nation makes decisions based on its own circumstances, and therefore he could not generalize about the reasons for other countries for the withdrawal of Western troops, limiting his comments to the position of the Central African Republic.The president also invited Russian investors to the CAR in order "to build relationships, to invest, to show the many potentials that the Central African Republic has."Touadera cited agriculture, mining, and infrastructure as examples of cooperation areas with Russia and its investors.The CAR president also commented on sanctions against Sputnik, saying that everyone must analyze the information "with full knowledge of the facts."It is necessary to give the media freedom, let them do their job, inform the population and the world, he states.French soldiers left Central African soil in 2022, and since then, their withdrawal has been demanded by several other countries. Central African Republic (CAR) President Faustin-Archange Touadera arrived in Moscow on January 15 for an official visit, which is scheduled to last three to four days.

Sputnik Africa.The president explained that each nation makes decisions based on its own circumstances, and therefore he could not generalize about the reasons for other countries for the
withdrawal of Western troops, limiting his comments to the position of the Central African Republic.
The president also invited Russian investors to the CAR in order "to build relationships, to invest, to show the many potentials that the Central African Republic has."
"Our visit to the Russian Federation to meet with the president, at the invitation of President Putin, is really an opportunity for us to strengthen our cooperation at all levels, particularly at the security level," Touadera said, mentioning the destabilization attack on the country in 2020-2021.
Touadera cited agriculture, mining, and infrastructure as examples of
cooperation areas with Russia and its investors.
The CAR president also commented on sanctions against
Sputnik, saying that everyone must analyze the information "with full
knowledge of the facts."
