Central African Republic (CAR) President Faustin-Archange Touadera's visit to Moscow took place within the framework of recognition, friendship, and the consolidation of relations, Prince Jérémie Yadoungou, a research professor, explained to Sputnik Africa.According to him, the relationship between Moscow and Bangui is in a dynamic that will surpass even the 800% figure cited by Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the increase in trade. The continuation of these deliveries, announced by the Russian president, will provide "a breath of fresh air to help us keep our heads above water," he continued. This can serve as a positive example to "lift the whole of Africa out of the abyss of poverty and misery," he argued. After the reconquest of almost the entire country with the support of the Russian ally, the remaining challenge today is that of border control, the expert noted.

On Wednesday, CAR President Faustin Archange Touadera arrived in Russia to hold talks with Vladimir Putin and top Russian officials.
Central African Republic (CAR) President Faustin-Archange Touadera's visit to Moscow took place within the framework of recognition,
friendship, and the consolidation of relations,
Prince Jérémie Yadoungou, a research professor, explained to
Sputnik Africa.According to him, the relationship between Moscow and Bangui is in a dynamic that will surpass even the 800% figure cited by Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the increase in trade.
"We received deliveries of grain that impacted the Central African market. We have also had a certain number of other deliveries, which at least stabilized the surge in prices in the Central African Republic," the academic noted.
The continuation of these deliveries, announced by the Russian president, will provide "a breath of fresh air to help us keep our heads above water," he continued.
"When you are with a friend who is great, you no longer need to worry. This is the case of the Central African Republic," Yadoungou said, specifically mentioning Moscow's assistance in lifting embargoes on arms and diamonds.
This can serve as a positive example to "lift the whole of
Africa out of the abyss of poverty and misery," he argued.
After the reconquest of almost the entire country with the support of the Russian ally, the remaining challenge today is that of border control, the expert noted.
