Moscow's industrial exports to North Africa surged 31% in the first eight months of 2024, driven by a doubling of medical equipment and pharmaceutical shipments, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for transport and industry Maxim Liksutov said.He noted that overall non-resource, non-energy exports increased by 9%, with industrial goods comprising 77% of the total. North Africa surged 31% in the first eight months of 2024, driven by a doubling of medical equipment and pharmaceutical shipments, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for transport and industry Maxim Liksutov said.
"On the instructions of [Moscow Mayor] Sergey Sobyanin, the city is actively promoting the development of trade and economic relations between Moscow enterprises and friendly countries. Thanks to this support, Moscow manufacturers are rapidly increasing industrial exports to North African countries," Liksutov said.
