During a meeting with Russian state corporation Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stressed Egypt's commitment to completing the first phase of the El-Dabaa nuclear power plant on schedule, highlighting its strategic importance.
Madbouly highlighted the importance of the El-Dabaa plant for Egypt's clean energy goals (42% by 2030), emphasizing cooperation with Russia to complete phase one on schedule. Likhachev thanked Egypt for its support in accelerating the project, citing strong historical ties between the two nations.
