16:34 18.11.2024 (Updated: 19:01 18.11.2024) Last week, Sudan's Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil Al-Haj condemned the West’s decision to impose sanctions on Sputnik Africa and remove it from social media platforms, calling it a contradiction to Western principles.
Sputnik always tells the truth, unlike Western media, Priscilla Suchillia Best, a founder and a creative director of the Nigerian fashion brand Suchille, told Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the All-Russian New Media Forum in Moscow.
"You can't even compare Sputnik or the Russian media to the Western and the mainstream media, you know, because they [Sputnik and Russian media] tell the truth," Priscilla Suchillia Best said.
She added that the Russian
news outlet reports authentic news and gives the world an opportunity to know more about Africa.
"So I would say I like what Sputnik is doing, and what the Russian media is doing. As a matter of fact, I wake up every morning and the first thing I do, I go to Russian news outlets to see what's happening, because that is where you get authentic, real and true news," Priscilla Suchillia Best noted.
