"At the instruction of our President Vladimir Putin, Russia is ready to provide emergency assistance to brotherly Cuba in view of the situation in the energy sector, which would include the supply of around 80,000 tonnes of diesel fuel within the limit approved in accordance with the president’s instruction of $60 million," Chernyshenko said at a meeting with Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas.
