MOSCOW (Sputnik) - In recent years, an agreement was reached between the two countries on developing cooperation in oncology and radiation therapy, and the Hungarian pharmaceutical company Gedeon Richter sold $330 million worth of products for 10 million patients on the Russian market in 2023.
Talks have begun between the Russian and Hungarian sides on the production of vector vaccines in Hungary, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said.
"Negotiations have begun on the production of vector vaccines in Hungary," Szijjarto said after a meeting of the 15th Russian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic issues, recalling the assistance that Russian Sputnik vaccines provided to Hungary during the COVID-19 pandemic.
