On Thursday, he meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin to deliberate on the potential for advancement of mutual relations as well as regional and global agendas.
Russia considers the Republic of the Congo to be a very promising country for developing relations; there is a lot of room for growth, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.
"[The Republic of the Congo] is a very, very promising country for us, a friendly country for the development of bilateral relations, the potential of which is very, very far from being fully exploited, so there is something to work on," Peskov told reporters, adding that the heads of state will discuss this today during negotiations.
