The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the II International Forum of Ministers of Education, organized by the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Foundation for the Support of Humanitarian Sciences, "My History."
Russia and Djibouti have taken a major step in forging closer educational ties with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation. The agreement, signed by Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov and his Djiboutian counterpart, Mustafa Mohamed Mahmoud, outlines a comprehensive plan for collaboration across various educational levels.
The memorandum, signed in Kazan, will see increased collaboration between educational institutions in both countries, facilitating student and teacher exchange programs. Joint seminars, conferences, and training programs for talented children are also planned.

"The memorandum provides for cooperation in the training of talented children, improvement of state educational standards and programs. The parties will promote the study of the Russian language on the territory of the Republic of Djibouti, organizing competitions and Olympiads for schoolchildren,” the Russian education ministry said.
