Putin to Meet With Presidents of Bolivia, Zimbabwe at SPIEF on Thursday, Kremlin Aide Says

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Bolivian President Luis Arce and President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa on June 6 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said on Tuesday.
According to Ushakov, Putin and Arce will discuss the development of bilateral cooperation on Thursday. The presidents will first meet in one-on-one format, and then continue talks in presence of delegations consisting of ministers. The Kremlin aide mentioned that approaches of Russia and Bolivia on key issues are similar.
"A meeting with the president of the Republic of Zimbabwe... also on June 6, in the afternoon there will be talks in the same format: first one-on-one, then negotiations as part of delegations," Ushakov told reporters.
Moreover, Putin will address SPIEF plenary session together with the two leaders.
“At the plenary session, the president of Bolivia and the president of Zimbabwe will also speak at the central stage, they will speak together with our president, then they will answer questions also together, and give personal comments,” Ushakov said.

SPIEF 2024: Unveiling Key Players and Trends
The 2024 edition of Russia's flagship international economic forum SPIEF will take place from June 5–8 in St. Petersburg.
This year, representatives from 136 countries have confirmed their participation in the event, according to Ushakov.
"Tthe forum gathers a fairly large Russian and international audience on its site. […] To date, the participation of representatives of 136 countries has been confirmed," Ushakov told a briefing ahead of the SPIEF.
Furthermore, politicians from more than 45 countries will come to SPIEF 2024.
"In total, politicians from more than 45 countries of the world will come to St. Petersburg," Ushakov said, adding that among them are CAR Prime Minister Felix Moloua, Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, Abkhazian President Aslan Bzhania, Chairman of the Government Konstantin Dzhussoev of South Ossetia.
Vice presidents, deputy prime ministers, ministers, governors, senators from Azerbaijan, Algeria, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Hungary, Venezuela, Vietnam, China, the UAE and many other countries also confirmed their participation, the official added.
