MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russian cultural capital St. Petersburg will play host to this year's St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 5-8. Discussions at the regular business gathering usually include a wide range of subjects, from economics and commerce to space exploration.
A high-ranking Cuban delegation will travel to Russia this week to participate in the SPIEF, the Cuban embassy told Sputnik on Monday.
"A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas is expected to attend," a spokesperson for the embassy said.
During SPIEF 2023, the Latin American country was represented by its Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz.
Last year, the forum drew 17,000 participants from 130 countries and saw the signing of more than 900 agreements.
