The new terminal is a key component of Ethiopian Airlines' "Vision 2035," a 15-year strategic plan aiming to solidify the airline's place as a leading global aviation group. This ambitious plan includes providing comprehensive services such as passenger and cargo transport, aviation training, airport management, and ground services.
Ethiopian Airlines, Africa's leading carrier, has inaugurated a brand-new domestic passenger terminal in Addis Ababa, significantly increasing its capacity and elevating the travel experience for passengers.
The $50 million project, constructed by China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), doubles the terminal's size to 25,270 square meters, providing state-of-the-art facilities.
The expansion was driven by the growing demand for domestic air travel in Ethiopia, fueled by recent tourism development.
