On Sunday, former US Assistant Deputy Secretary of Defense Stephen Bryan claimed in an article published by the Asia Times that "France has sent its first troops officially to Ukraine."
French Foreign Ministry denied the information about sending Foreign Legion soldiers to Ukraine, as previously reported by a number of media.

"Disinformation campaigns about France's support for Ukraine do not stop. No, France has not sent troops to Ukraine," the ministry said on social networks, attaching screenshots of the relevant publications to the post.
