The Russian ambassador to the Central African Republic, Alexander Bikantov, has presented an invitation to CAR Foreign Minister Sylvie Baipo-Temon to attend the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum in Sochi, the embassy said in a statement.Last week, CAR President Faustin Archange Touadera said that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have been invited to the Central African Republic.Speaking about the growing cooperation between Russia and the Central African Republic, President Touadera emphasized that his country has trained more than 10,000 young soldiers with the help of Russian instructors.He also emphasized the interest in joint work in the energy sector. Russia has the necessary technologies in solar and hydroelectric power for the Central African Republic, so the countries' authorities are negotiating cooperation in this area, Touadera said.The president added that, thanks to cooperation with Russia, the country has managed to regain control over 95% of its territory.In addition, last week, CAR Prime Minister Felix Molua met with Ambassador Bikantov to discuss prospects for trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The possible visit of a Russian delegation and institutional changes in Russia-CAR cooperation were discussed at the meeting, the embassy said.

The Russian ambassador to the Central African Republic, Alexander Bikantov, has presented an invitation to CAR Foreign Minister Sylvie Baipo-Temon to attend the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum in Sochi, the embassy said in a statement.
"The parties discussed issues of strengthening the contractual and legal framework between Russia and the Central African Republic. The Russian ambassador presented the minister with an invitation to participate in the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum in Sochi," the embassy said.
