"The Central African Republic is interested in a visit by a Russian Energy Ministry delegation to discuss Russian fuel supplies and opportunities for interaction in this field in general," Bikantov said. Bangui would prefer to receive the Russian delegation in April, but exact dates or the delegation's makeup are yet to be decided, the ambassador added. Earlier in the day, the embassy said that CAR Prime Minister Felix Moloua had met with Bikantov to discuss the prospects for trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The meeting focused on the potential visit of a Russian delegation and institutional changes to Russia-CAR cooperation, the embassy added. The African nation plans to share with Russia its core national documents, such as the economic development plan, to be used as a road map when discussing interaction between governments, ministries and a joint interdepartmental commission once it is established, the embassy also said.
