MOSCOW (Sputnik) - ZNPP is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe in terms of the number of units and installed capacity - the plant has six units with a capacity of 1 gigawatt each. In October 2022, the nuclear power plant was taken over by Russia.
Ukrainian troops attacked a building with a unique training center of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (ZNPP), a drone was neutralized over the building's roof, the plant's press service said on Thursday.
"The Ukrainian armed forces again attacked the unique training center of the Zaporozhye NPP. A Ukrainian drone was neutralized over the roof of the building ... where the world's only full-scale reactor hall simulator is located," the press service wrote on Telegram, adding that no damage and injuries were caused in the attack.
