What is Known About Judith Suminwa Tuluka, First Woman to Lead Government in DR Congo?

On Monday, the presidency of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) announced that Judith Tuluka Suminwa, who served as the country's Minister of Planning, was appointed as the DRC's prime minister.
Here is Judith Tuluka Suminwa's journey before she became the prime minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo:
The 56-year-old woman, who is married and a mother of two children, was born in the country's province of Kongo Central;
She holds a Master's degree in Labor Sciences, Administration, and Human Resources Management from the Free University of Brussels;
She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics, Option Financial Management, from the Catholic University Faculties of Mons in Belgium;
The newly appointed prime minister has a degree in accounting from the School of Promotion and Continuing Education in Brussels;
She initially worked in the banking sector before moving to UN agencies, including the United Nations Development Program (UNDP);
In 2012, Tuluka Suminwa was appointed advisor to the DRC minister of budget;
She then served as deputy coordinator for administrative and operational affairs at the country's presidential council for strategic monitoring;
Since March 24, 2023, Tuluka Suminwa has held the position of the nation's minister of planning, responsible for planning and programming the country's economic and social development policy.
