LUGANSK (Sputnik) - On Wednesday, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the country's forces repelled nine Ukrainian counterattacks in the Avdeyevka vicinity during the past 24 hours, with Kiev’s military casualties reaching 255 troops.
Russia's "Tsentr" unit of armed forces have hit another US-made Abrams tank of Ukrainian troops using a Russian-made drone near the city of Avdeyevka, a security source told Sputnik on Saturday, sharing video footage.

"Today, an M1A1SA Abrams was hit by a Russian drone Lancet in the Avdeyevka direction. This was carried out by the 'Tsentr' group of forces. It is impossible as of yet to tell for certain if the tank had been destroyed or it managed to flee the strike zone. Confirmation will require time. But the fact that our loitering munition hit the American vehicle is clearly observable on the video," the source said.

On the footage, the drone crashes into the tank entrenched between trees.
