The Russian embassy in the capital city of Equatorial Guinea, Malabo, is de facto starting to work amd will officially open in the coming weeks, Director of the African Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Vsevolod Tkachenko, said. In accordance with plans announced by Putin in July 2023, last December, Russia has officially resumed the activities of its embassy in Burkina Faso.
