At least 180 people were injured in the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert venue near Moscow, 142 of whom were taken to hospitals, according to data on victim hospitalizations updated by Moscow Region's Health Ministry on Sunday evening.
Thirty-two patients have been discharged from hospitals, while 38 victims are receiving outpatient care and nine are inpatients, the data showed.
The Russian authorities said that at least 137 people were killed in the attack, while Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of RT and the Rossiya Segodnya media group, said the death toll had reached 143 people.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Moscow Region said that as a result of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert venue outside Moscow, at least 152 people were injured, including five children.
"As a result of the terrorist attack, 285 people (including eight children) were injured, 133 people of them died (including three children); 114 people, including four children, were taken to medical institutions and hospitalized," the ministry said in the morning.
A shooting occurred on Friday evening in the Crocus City Hall concert venue in the city of Krasnogorsk, outside Moscow, followed by a massive fire. A Sputnik correspondent who witnessed the attack reported that at least three men in camouflage had broken into the music hall, shooting people point-blank and throwing incendiary bombs.
Eleven people were detained in connection with the attack, including four who were directly responsible, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said. All four were detained in the Russian region of Bryansk, which borders Ukraine, a few hours apart, the FSB added.
