Incumbent Russian President Vladimir Putin has won the 2024 presidential election with 87.28% of the vote, the country's Central Election Commission (CEC) announced.The data of the election results were published in the information center of the CEC, 100% of the ballots have been processed.Vladimir Putin (self-nominated) received 87.28% of the votes, while the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Nikolay Kharitonov of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) received 4.31% of the votes, coming second.Meanwhile, the deputy speaker of the State Duma, Vladislav Davankov of the New People's Party, received 3.85% of the votes, and finally, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), Leonid Slutsky, received 3.2% of the votes.The voting took place within three days, March 15, 16 and 17, and involved the possibility to vote online.

On March 15-17, Russia held presidential elections, the eighth in the country's modern history. The President of the Russian Federation is elected for a six-year term by the citizens of Russia on the basis of universal, equal and direct suffrage by secret ballot.
Incumbent Russian President Vladimir Putin has
won the 2024 presidential election with 87.28% of the vote, the country's Central Election Commission (CEC) announced.
The data of the election results were published in the information center of the CEC, 100% of the ballots have been processed.
Vladimir Putin (
