The world's largest youth festival is taking place in Russia's Sirius Federal Territory from March 1 to 7, giving young people from around the globe the opportunity to engage in discussions, collaborate, and share experiences.
Cooperation between Russia and Africa is a win-win partnership that builds "a world full of peace," Abdoulaye Siby, Project Manager at Impact Hub Bamako, Mali, told Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the World Youth Festival.

"I think we have a lot to give to Russia, and we have a lot to take from Russia. So the expectation is to have this win-win partnership, to learn from each other, to give to each other and to grow together, to build a world full of peace and opportunities for all of us," Siby said.

The interviewee believed that such a cooperation can help fight unemployment in Africa, encourage entrepreneurship, and stabilize the economy.

"I really hope that we can build partnerships with Russia to implement and develop programs for the youth [...] to fight against unemployment, to promote entrepreneurship and to develop our economy and to make our countries stable in this area," Siby noted.

Moreover, the partnership is not limited to the economic sphere: Russia and Africa can cooperate in the exchange of human, material and financial resources, as both parties have "a lot to give" to each other.

"So the perspective is to see together what we can give to each other, what we can learn from each other and how we can grow together to reach the goals that we are fixing to ourselves," the expert said.

Lastly, Siby mentioned that as the world is facing more and more problems, people "just want peace between all the countries" for shared prosperity.
"We just want peace between all the countries in the world to make everything grow and make the world more livable," the guest concluded.
